Bio

Pronounced "Sophia", R&B artist Sofija is a Portland native offering a fresh and soulful sound. Sofija shares her personal stories through her songs in the hopes that her journey is one others around the world can relate to. She has been writing music and playing piano since childhood, and continues to focus on honing her craft while currently creating music in Los Angeles.

In 2025, she released her first EP, “Reveal”. The six song project details a series of experiences that have transformed Sofija; teaching her lessons about herself and the world.

Sofija released new single ‘Waves’ on September 18th, a laid-back and groovy recounting of a pleasantly surprising situationship that met its end without any bad blood. In this summery track, Sofija sensually expresses a sense of gratitude for the experience being what it was, and a feeling of contentment for something casual and carefree. She relates the experience of riding a wave without the need to rush to an intentionally easygoing dynamic with a new lover.
